NOBLE LIVES FOUNDATION NATIONAL BOOK DAY

Image
Yesterday, in Akwa Ibom State, we commemorated the 2020 National Book Lover's Day with a tour to Churches within the State Capital in the morning, and a reading and storytelling session with the youngsters of Ikot Ebo Community in Etinan Local Government Area in the evening.  We had a great time with the youngsters, as we shared inspirational stories of great men and women who are successful in life endeavours as a result of being book lovers and voracious readers.  We encouraged them to read and become positive change makers in the society, taking cognizant that strong economies of the 21st Century are knowledge -based and functional literacy is fundamental to all meaningful development.  Special appreciation to our sponsors who contributed immensely for the successful commemoration of the 2020 National Book Lover's Day.  We acknowledge the donation of over 1,500 copies of books from Elder.
